You would be working for a company called Competitor Pricewatch. The company operates as a price comparison service for on-line retailers looking to match against similar on-line businesses.
The role you be required to undertake would be Lead Generation. You would be expected to make contact with on-line retailers (that don't already use our service) and establish a connection with somebody in their pricing/stock department. You would then need to pitch our company to them from a pre-written call script and ascertain whether they have any interest in the service. If they do show an interest, you would then take that persons contact details and feed them back to Competitor Pricewatch so that in turn we can contact them and arrange either a free trial/a demo or an account set up.
The option for payment with regards to this work is either a one off payment per account (which would be the client's first months admin fee, which varies in size depending on the size of the account) or 10% of the monthly admin fee continuing for as long as the client is using the Competitor Pricewatch service.
