We run a small CentOS server with GoAutodial 3.0 (Telemarketing Platform)
I believe we have been hacked by some one using our server for their own purposes.
Over the past few months my telemarketers would occasionally tell me that the phone conversions are cutting in and out and they cant hear anyone. This only happens some times.
-Sometimes the server uses high CPU on processes like Asterisk & MySQL.
-I ran the Iftop command and realized that their is a connection from Australia using about 1 Mbps of data constantly.
I dont know what they are doing on the server but it is putting enough of a load on the server that it disrupts the void conversations of my telemarketers.
I dont have a significant knowledge of Linux. I have hired people from freelancer do do work on the server in the past. It is possible that they did something to the server.
Therefore i can only give you full root access via Team viewer. This way i can watch as you work on the server.
I need some one to look at my system and see what they are doing. Also block those people from logging in. Also tell me what else we can do to make this server un hackable. I realize this is very common when running asterisk. I am willing to pay $[url removed, login to view] per hour + $[url removed, login to view] for Freelancer Transaction.
