We have three Linux servers all running Centos and require some IPtables rules to be added to all three of them.
The rules are going to be fairly simple such as allow ssh, ping echo reply, pptp, l2tp and block everything else. I also need null packets and syn flood attacks to be blocked. I will give the winning freelancer specific instructions.
Please ONLY reply if you are very experienced Linux administrator and familiar in IPTables and Centos. I will also require you to email me the commands used to configure the rules, such as:
iptables -A INPUT -p tcp -m tcp --dport 22 -j ACCEPT
The IPTables rules must also be applied on a restart. As you can see its reasonably simple and should take an experienced Linux administrator around an hour to do this via SSH. I would like this to be completed within 48 hours.
To ensure that you have read this in full please ensure that you put the phrase "blue dog" somewhere in your reply. Thank you!
