Connect to MariaDb running in VM from Windows 10 host using Toad

Title says it all. I have MariaDb running in a VirtualBox VM. The guest is CentOs 7. The host is Windows 10. Try as I might, I can't figure out how to configure Toad to connect to the database on the VM, and I'm tired of fighting with it. Job is to simply remotely log into my machine and figure it out. I will sit here and watch and answer questions and provide assistance. That's it!
