Get my Mastodon instance to work with Protonmail Bridge so that emails don't end up in the spam folder

I have a working Mastodon instance (installed on a debian 10 linux server) but because the VPS host I am using has IP addresses which are blacklisted by email spam filters, the emails from my VPS are ending up in peoples' spam folder (some aren't receiving them at all). I would like to get my Mastodon instance sending emails using Protonmail Bridge (I have a paid protonmail account). I would also like to have detailed step-by-step instructions on how you did it such that I could blindly follow your instructions in order to re-produce to same setup. To summarize:

1. Get my Mastodon instance working with my Protonmail Bridge so that the Mastodon server can send emails via Protonmail Bridge without ending up in the spam folder

2. Provide detailed step-by-step instructions for how you accomplished (1)
