WiFi to Ethernet

I need a Linksys WMP54G v4.1 PCI card compliled on a Linux CentOs 4.4(Final). From what I understand linksys does not have driver support but this can be accomplished by recompiling the kernel with ndiswrapper. If there is a better way, please suggest.

Once the WiFi card is configured and tested I need the routing tables and packet forwarding configured so that a WiFi signal can be received by the Linksys card and routed across a wired network. I can provide a second NIC card for the new LAN so that you can remain connected to the server over SSH.

So basically what I am trying to accomplish is being able to take a signal received over WiFi and turn it back into an ethernet connection.
