Weekly Statewide Porter Rider Deliveries

Hi, I previously owned and operated a Chicago courier company for roughly 10 years, so this project is directly aligned with my background. My experience includes time-sensitive pickups and deliveries, route planning and optimization, dispatch coordination, POD handling, customer communication, mileage/timestamp tracking, service recovery, and keeping multiple deliveries on schedule when conditions change. I understand the key requirements are reliable weekly execution, safe handling, accurate documentation, and immediate communication regarding delays or incidents. For each route I can maintain: • Pickup/delivery timestamps • Mileage and route logs • Signed/electronic PODs • Exception and delay notes • Clear status communication My strongest fit is the Chicago side, but I am comfortable with interstate courier work when route, load size, vehicle requirements, and schedule are clearly defined. I am also comfortable flying to a pickup location, obtaining an appropriately sized insured rental vehicle, and completing transport that way. Before committing, I would like to confirm typical route distances, weekly stop count, package sizes/weights, and vehicle requirements. What size are the pickups typically, and is a cargo van sufficient? Thank you for your time.
