I run a Magento 2.x store in Australia that already processes standard card transactions through eWay. I now want customers to be able to check out with Apple Pay, using eWay’s Direct Payments flow. I have an active Apple Developer account and can generate the required merchant ID and certificates on request. What I need is a Magento-savvy developer who has tackled Apple Pay on the web before and understands how eWay expects the payment token to be handed off and validated. Scope of work • Configure Apple Pay for the existing domain (merchant ID creation, CSR, certificate upload, domain association file). • Implement the eWay Direct Payments logic in Magento 2 so the decrypted Apple Pay token is sent exactly as eWay’s docs specify. • Add the Apple Pay button to product, cart, and checkout pages, styled per Apple’s guidelines, and restricted to Safari/iOS/macOS where appropriate. • End-to-end testing in both Apple Pay Sandbox and eWay Sandbox, then switch to production keys. • Provide a short hand-off note listing all files edited, keys installed, and any future-update considerations. Acceptance criteria 1. Apple Pay option displays only on supported browsers/devices. 2. A test order can be completed through both the Apple Pay Sandbox and the live eWay environment without console or payment errors. 3. Order details (tokenised card, transaction ID, customer info) appear correctly in Magento Admin and eWay’s merchant portal. 4. No core Magento files are overridden; all custom logic sits in a module or theme override.
