My current EasyEDA project already carries both an HDMI interface and a USB 3.0 port. The sole objective now is to push the layout into a noticeably smaller footprint without sacrificing signal integrity or changing the schematic beyond what is strictly necessary. You’ll be working inside the existing EasyEDA workspace, so please be fully comfortable with its layer management, impedance-controlled routing features, and high-speed design rules. I expect you to review component placement, swap footprints where practical, shorten differential pairs, and generally squeeze every millimetre while respecting HDMI TMDS and USB 3.0 SuperSpeed constraints. Deliverables (all via EasyEDA): • Updated PCB file that is manufacturable and clearly smaller than the original board • Fresh Gerber pack, drill files, and pick-and-place data that pass JLCPCB/Seeed DRCs out of the box • Brief change log noting any component substitutions or layer-stack tweaks Acceptance will be based on successful DRC, preserved connector pin-outs, and clear evidence of a reduced outline. If you can propose further optimisations—such as moving to a four-layer stack or adopting smaller shielded connectors—let me know; I’m open to ideas provided they align with the primary goal of shrinking the board.

Dear Hiring Manager, My name is Artem, and I would be glad to redesign your existing HDMI/USB PCB to achieve a significantly smaller footprint while fully preserving signal integrity and connector pin-outs. I am comfortable working directly inside EasyEDA, including its layer management, impedance-controlled routing, and high-speed design rules for HDMI TMDS and USB 3.0 SuperSpeed signals. My approach will be to carefully review and optimize component placement first, then refine routing to shorten differential pairs, reduce loop areas, and eliminate wasted board space. Where appropriate, I can propose footprint swaps or tighter component packages that do not alter the functional schematic. Throughout the redesign, I will strictly respect impedance targets, pair matching, return paths, and reference planes to ensure the electrical behavior remains unchanged. The final result will be a clearly reduced board outline that passes EasyEDA DRC and JLCPCB/Seeed manufacturing checks without manual fixes. You will receive the updated PCB file, fresh Gerbers, drill and pick-and-place data, and a concise change log noting any substitutions or stack-up adjustments. I work methodically, document changes clearly, and focus on practical, manufacturable layouts. I am ready to begin as soon as access to the project is shared. Kind regards, Artem

Hello I have designed something similar for a past client. I’m a seasoned embedded engineer, not a middleman or agency relay, and I work hands-on through the entire design, implementation, and delivery process. My focus is always on producing something that works reliably in the real world—not just something that looks good on tools. I’ve delivered comparable projects where the real challenge wasn’t execution alone, but making the right technical decisions early to avoid rework, instability, or delays later. That’s where my experience adds value. I step in, absorb the complexity, and make sure you don’t have to spend your time managing details or chasing progress. My approach is centered on accountability and outcomes. Once we align on scope and expectations, I take responsibility for getting it done properly. My goal is to remove delivery risk from your side so you can focus on the bigger picture instead of supervising execution. If this sounds good fit, let's start a conversation in the inbox (use the chat button below), and let’s discuss your goals and timeline in more detail. Looking forward to it. Abbas Jawad Wala SMB ElectroTech P.S. I take on selected projects only, which allows me to stay fully engaged and responsive throughout the process. If you’re looking for someone who can take this off your shoulders, make sound decisions independently, and deliver with minimal oversight, this will be a good fit.

Hi, there. High-speed boards usually grow because HDMI TMDS and USB 3.0 pairs don’t forgive bad placement—but with tighter component swaps, smarter layer usage, and shorter diff paths, the board can absolutely shrink without breaking SI. I’ve done this kind of “make it smaller without killing signals” work many times, and the key is being aggressive where it’s safe and conservative where physics matters. Your description tells me this is more about layout discipline than schematic changes. I’m very comfortable working directly in EasyEDA, including impedance-controlled routing, layer stack setup, and high-speed rules. I’ll start by re-evaluating placement, footprints, and connector orientation, then tighten differential pair lengths, reduce stubs, and clean up return paths. If moving to a 4-layer stack or smaller shielded connectors helps meaningfully, I’ll suggest it with clear trade-offs. You’ll get a clearly smaller, manufacturable PCB, clean Gerbers, drill, and pick-and-place files that pass JLCPCB/Seeed DRCs out of the box, plus a short, honest change log. Pin-outs stay intact, SI stays solid, and the board gets leaner. If you want, I can share how I’d approach the first layout pass before we start.

⚡⚡⚡High-Speed PCB Layout Optimization (HDMI & USB 3.0)⚡⚡⚡ Hello, I have optimized compact HDMI and USB 3.0 boards in EasyEDA, focusing on controlled-impedance routing, tight differential pair matching, and footprint minimization without degrading signal integrity. I recently reduced a high-speed interface board footprint while maintaining TMDS and SuperSpeed compliance. My approach: rework placement, select compact footprints where safe, shorten diff pairs, and validate against EasyEDA and JLCPCB/Seeed DRCs. Questions: Current board size and layer count? Is moving to a 4-layer stack acceptable? Any connector footprint constraints to keep? Thanks
