I’m taking a new LTCC + HTCC ceramic substrate program from concept into pilot production and need someone who has already walked that road. Your background should include hands-on development of both LTCC and HTCC boards as well as the shop-floor know-how to run ceramic sintering, formulate and cast slurry tapes, and finish the panels through accurate dicing or laser singulation. Beyond the substrate itself, we will be iterating moulds for cavities and routing features, so proven experience closing the loop between mould design and real-world builds is essential. Of the entire tooling cycle I care most about what happens during sample testing—verifying dimensional stability, shrinkage rates, metallisation adhesion and electrical performance before we lock the design. Here’s how I see the collaboration: • You review my initial stack-up, material set and target specs. • We agree on a process flow that covers slurry formulation, tape thickness, lamination pressure, firing profile and post-firing machining. • You prepare or adapt any required mould designs, oversee the first article run and drive the sample test plan. • We analyse the data together, tweak parameters and release an updated build ready for pre-production quantities. Deliverables: validated process sheet, updated mould drawings (native CAD + PDF), first-article test report with pass/fail criteria clearly documented, and recommendations for scaling.
