Negotiation meetings between our UK company and a factory just outside Shanghai need smooth, real-time Mandarin ↔ English support over Microsoft Teams. The conversations revolve around manufacturing topics—production timelines, quality tolerances, pricing structures and shipment terms—so a solid grasp of technical vocabulary in this sector is essential. During each session you will: • Listen to both sides and provide clear, consecutive interpretation without losing nuance. • Keep the pace natural so neither party feels rushed or left waiting. • Clarify cultural subtleties when they affect the tone or intent of an offer or counter-proposal. I expect you to preserve confidentiality and remain neutral while still helping both parties understand one another’s position in detail. Meetings occur once a month, typically 60–90 minutes, and are scheduled with at least one week’s notice. A brief written recap of key decisions or outstanding questions right after each call would be appreciated. If you have proven experience in live translation for manufacturing negotiations and are comfortable working on Microsoft Teams, I look forward to collaborating with you.
