I need a market researcher to provide an analysis of the market for mobile and web philanthropy/charitable giving - i.e., individuals giving donations to causes or charities using their mobile phones or tablets (or on the web). I am interested in what systems exist, what have failed, why individuals may or may not be willing to participate in this technology, and what the size of the market could be for something like this.
This will include research into what systems, apps, websites currently exist, how they operate generally. I am primarily interested in mobile-based systems, apps and companies, but web-based systems that could have a mobile component are also part of this.
Additionally, research into articles in magazines and philanthropy journals in this field describing specific apps or projects, human behavior as it relates to this technology, technological limitations and opportunities in this field. I would like a summary and references to articles by experts, journalists, and others describing their opinion or research into this subject. Charts, graphs or infographics about the flow of technology, funds, behavior, etc., found in the course of the research will also be helpful.
