Job Post: Marketing & Site Scouting Team — Karnataka (EV Charging Network) About the Project SURGE Charging is a 180kW DC fast-charging EV network expanding across Karnataka (currently live in Tumkur, Koramangala, Indiranagar, Mysuru Highway, Hosur Road, Whitefield, with more stations building). We're looking for a marketing/scout team to support ground-level expansion and brand visibility across the state. What We Need A team (or individual with a field network) to handle on-ground scouting and marketing across Karnataka. Core Responsibilities Site Scouting • Identify potential locations for new EV charging stations along highways, near commercial hubs, apartment complexes, and business districts • Assess site suitability: road frontage, visibility, footfall, power availability (proximity to BESCOM HT lines), parking space • Initial outreach to landowners/site hosts for partnership discussions Partner Acquisition • Scout and approach potential Fleet Partners (logistics companies, cab aggregators, delivery fleets) • Identify Host Partners (mall owners, hotel/restaurant chains, apartment associations) for hosting charging stations • Explore Franchisee leads for SURGE's franchise model On-Ground Marketing • Local brand visibility campaigns near existing/new stations (signage, local business tie-ups) • Driver community engagement (EV owner groups, fleet driver associations) • Feedback collection from drivers using existing stations Requirements • Based in or with strong ground presence across Karnataka (Bangalore + highway corridors: Tumkur, Mysuru, Hosur routes preferred) • Prior experience in field sales, site scouting, or B2B partnership development (real estate, fuel/EV, or franchise sectors a plus) • Local language proficiency (Kannada) strongly preferred • Ability to travel across assigned regions • Comfortable with lead reporting/CRM tracking (tools to be provided or agreed on) Deliverables • Weekly report of scouted sites with location, ownership contact, and suitability assessment • Partner leads pipeline (Fleet/Host/Franchisee) with status tracking • Monthly summary of on-ground marketing activities and outcomes Engagement Details • [To be filled: contract duration, payment structure (retainer/commission/per-lead), budget range, reporting frequency] • Karnataka-wide coverage, with initial focus on [Bangalore metro / highway corridors — confirm priority regions] How to Apply Share relevant experience in site scouting, field sales, or partner development, along with regions in Karnataka you can actively cover.
