As a communication engineer, you are asked to recover some messages from a sampled received signal ([url removed, login to view]). Frequency division multiplexing (FDM) with some form of analog modulation (AM, FM) was used to produce this signal. It has also been contaminated by additive white channel noise. Some prior knowledge:

• Sampling rate fs=220,500 sample/second

• There are one or more than one messages

• The messages have zero DC level

• The bandwidth of each message signal is less than 10,000Hz

• Each carrier frequency is a multiple of 10,000Hz

• A different type of modulation may be used at each carrier frequency

The project is evaluated as follows

1. Your report should include a correct system-level diagram and description of the process that is needed to recover the messages. Plot the signal in both time and frequency domains at each point in the diagram. Describe the signals you obtain at the output.
