I already have a functioning MATLAB R2024b / Simulink micro-grid model with V2G capability. The next milestone is to add a detailed EV-discharge scenario, capture every governing equation, and set up reliable monitoring for key power-quality metrics. Implementation – Extend the model so a fleet of EV batteries can discharge back into the grid under configurable triggers (SOC limit, demand spike, etc.). – Keep the model numerically stable and fully compatible with Simscape Electrical. Equation capture While you work, I need a companion document that lists every algebraic and differential equation driving the existing blocks—control loops, converters, grid interface, the lot—presented in clean notation with all variables defined. Monitoring Inside the updated model I must be able to track: • Power transfer efficiency • Voltage profile across critical points. • Overall system stability indicators • Frequency deviation / ROCOF • Harmonics content • THD Please wire scopes or logging blocks so each of those signals is exported automatically to the MATLAB workspace for post-processing. Deliverables 1. Revised Simulink model implementing the EV-discharge scenario. 2. Equation report (Word, PDF) with clear variable definitions. 3. Simulation setup that logs the six metrics above, plus a short user guide on accessing and interpreting them. 4. Two-to-three-page technical note describing assumptions, solver settings, and any limitations. Acceptance The job is done when the model runs a 24-hour simulated period without errors, the logged data looks realistic, and the equation report matches the implemented system. MATLAB/Simulink proficiency and clear documentation are essential; experience with V2G and micro-grids will make this go faster.
