I’m finalising a research-grade, two-stage, single-phase grid-connected PV system and need a complete MATLAB/Simulink model that focuses on lowering total harmonic distortion at the PCC. The simulation has to capture every major block of the plant: the solar array with irradiance/temperature profiles, the DC-link and inverter stage tied to the grid, and, most importantly, a Fuzzy-Logic-based controller that handles both MPPT and inverter current regulation. Alongside the AI controller I also need a benchmark implementation of conventional PI / PR control so that I can produce a side-by-side THD comparison under identical test conditions. Please keep the two control strategies fully swappable inside the same model so I can toggle between them without rewriting code. Key points to cover in the build • PV module and irradiance models representative of a small residential array • Boost-converter MPPT governed by fuzzy rules (not neural or GA) • Inverter current loop also driven by fuzzy logic, synchronised to the grid • Grid interface with LCL or L-filter and standard P – Q measurement blocks • THD and power-quality metrics logged automatically for both control modes Deliverables 1. A well-annotated MATLAB/Simulink file (R2021a or later) containing the full system with clearly labelled subsystems. 2. A quick-start script that runs the model, switches between AI and PI/PR control, and exports THD, voltage, and current waveforms. 3. A short read-me or PDF explaining the fuzzy rule base, membership functions, and any custom S-functions used. 4. Result plots demonstrating the THD improvement achieved by the AI controller under at least two irradiance scenarios.
