I am moving a hardware project from concept to production and need a KiCad specialist to work alongside me through schematic capture, PCB layout design, and library management. The current schematic is still in its initial draft, but I have already documented every functional block, net constraint, and mechanical boundary in a detailed requirements PDF that I will share as soon as we start. Your first task will be to review and clean up the draft schematic, verifying component choices and flagging any electrical or footprint conflicts. From there we will: • Finalise the component libraries, adding any missing symbols or footprints so the project remains self-contained and version-controlled. • Complete the PCB layout to match my stack-up, keep-out zones, and routing guidelines (high-speed pairs and controlled impedance notes are in the document). • Generate manufacturing outputs—Gerbers, drill files, BOM, and assembly drawings—ready for a quick turn proto run. Acceptance criteria: the KiCad project must open without errors on v7.x, ERC and DRC must pass with zero critical warnings, and the board must meet the fabrication specs outlined in the requirements file. If you have proven experience taking boards from schematic to fab inside KiCad and can communicate clearly while iterating, I’d like to hear how you would approach these steps and see examples of past layouts.

Hi, I can take your KiCad project from draft schematic through a clean, fabrication-ready PCB package while keeping everything self-contained and editable. My workflow will be: • Review and clean the existing schematic • Verify component choices, pinouts, footprints, and power requirements • Resolve ERC issues and electrical conflicts • Create/fix missing KiCad symbols and footprints • Apply your stack-up, mechanical boundaries, and keep-out zones • Route high-speed/differential signals per your constraints • Respect controlled-impedance and return-path requirements • Complete grounding, decoupling, and power routing • Run final ERC/DRC and DFM checks • Generate Gerbers, drill files, BOM, and assembly drawings • Deliver the complete KiCad v7.x project and libraries I’m comfortable with KiCad schematic capture, custom library management, multilayer PCB layout, high-speed routing, controlled impedance, manufacturing outputs, and design documentation. I’ll first review your requirements PDF and draft project, then flag any conflicts before layout begins so revisions happen early rather than after routing. Best regards Ankit

I read the requirements carefully. I have experience with embedded systems, robotics, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, sensors, and hardware-software integration, and I understand the workflow from functional requirements through schematic, PCB constraints, and manufacturing outputs. For this project, I would approach it systematically: • Review the draft schematic against your requirements PDF • Verify component selections, connectivity, power domains, and interfaces • Identify electrical, footprint, and mechanical conflicts before layout • Organize the project into self-contained, version-controlled KiCad libraries • Build or refine missing symbols and footprints • Implement the PCB stack-up, keep-outs, routing constraints, differential pairs, and controlled-impedance requirements • Run ERC/DRC and resolve critical issues • Generate Gerbers, drill files, BOM, assembly drawings, and fabrication outputs • Perform a final design-for-manufacturing review before prototype release I am comfortable working with embedded hardware and software together, which helps when reviewing interfaces such as MCU, communication buses, sensors, power, and peripheral connections. One important point: I would like to review the existing KiCad project and requirements PDF before claiming that I can guarantee the stated zero-warning fabrication acceptance criteria. I prefer validating the actual design first rather than making unsupported claims.

hello, there? I understand you already have the functional blocks, constraints, mechanical boundaries, and an initial schematic draft, so the critical task is turning those requirements into a clean, manufacturable KiCad project that can move confidently into prototype production. The biggest risk at this stage is allowing schematic, footprint, library, or layout issues to carry forward into fabrication, creating costly revisions later. I will begin by reviewing the draft schematic against your requirements document, validating component selections, footprint assignments, electrical connections, and design constraints. I will then complete and organize the project libraries so the design remains self-contained and version-controlled, followed by PCB layout that respects your stack-up, keep-out zones, routing requirements, and controlled impedance guidance. I will complete the project by performing ERC and DRC validation, resolving critical warnings, generating Gerbers, drill files, BOM, assembly drawings, and delivering a KiCad v7-compatible package ready for fabrication and assembly. thanks.
