I'm seeking an experienced geoscientist/petrophysicist to process a seven-well dataset across two related studies and return interpreted results with clear, reproducible documentation. The work supports academic research — so your methodology must be explained well enough to be understood and reproduced. I am NOT asking you to write any report or analysis; your role is to process the data and document your method. Both studies use the SAME seven wells, so they can be delivered together as one engagement. Part 1 — Petrophysical / reservoir-quality evaluation (Techlog + Petrel): Log QC and normalisation; depth-match core to logs Shale volume, porosity (density-neutron with matrix correction), water saturation (Archie + a shaly-sand model such as Simandoux) Multimineral analysis (M-N cross-plotting) to quantify calcite cement and authigenic clays Hydraulic Flow Unit classification (RQI / FZI, Kozeny-Carman) separating sweet spots from tight zones Permeability prediction via HFU-specific K-Phi transforms, calibrated to core Export to Petrel for 2D property maps Part 2 — Stratigraphic correlation (Petrel): 2D well-log correlation (pick formation tops + basement contact) Tectonic flattening on a datum to reconstruct depositional geometry Isopach (thickness) mapping using Convergent Interpolation Integrate available biostratigraphy; identify pinch-out / onlap traps in a half-graben setting Data provided: all 7 wells have digital logs (LAS). Core/XRD coverage is partial (4 wells fully sampled, 3 log-only); biostratigraphy on 5 of 7. Scope is 2D only — no 3D seismic, fault-seal, or geomodelling. Required: your own licensed access to BOTH Techlog and Petrel. Deliverables: editable Techlog + Petrel projects; 1D petrophysical models; multimineral and HFU logs; well-correlation panels, flattened sections, isopach and 2D property maps; and a documented, reproducible methodology for both parts. The data is proprietary — you must sign an NDA before it's shared. Please confirm licensed access to both Techlog and Petrel, your relevant experience (sample work welcome), turnaround time, number of revisions, and quote the two parts both separately and as a combined package.
