Barcode reader on Android: we need an application on Android (HTC and other smart-phones) which is similar to the "Barcode Bank" applet offered on the site "androlib", but which has important enhancements. To give an idea of the application: Equipment in a building has to be inspected and in order to verify, that the person doing the inspection actually goes to all devices, a barcode label is fixed on the devices to be verified and the person has to read the barcode of these devices. Before the person starts the tour, he loads a text file from the PC containing the name and the location of all devices to inspect. All these names and locations will be presented to the person on the screen and when he reads a barcode which is contained in the smartphone, a checkbox next to the item shows that the barcode was found. A time stamp should be stored. At the bottom of the screen, the number of unchecked items is shown. When a barcode is read, that is not on the list, the person can enter a name and the location and add it to the list. When the person comes back to the PC, a file containing the list of devices and the information "checked/not checked" and the time when the barcode was read, can be transferred to the PC.
The program should also have a menu to delete an item or clear the list.
