We run an online newspaper and need a native mobile app for Android, iOS, WebOs, Windows and BlackBerry platform.
We want our application to have similar features to NY Times App but with BBC App advert feeling. A detailed requirement specification would be made available to the right freelancer with the most promising and realistic bid + proposal. We are not interested in any random bids, so please read our quest before submitting your bid.
Please bid only if you are going to submit a brief proposal because we are interested to know the programming language and/or framework to be used. We also want to see a mock-up alongside your proposal.
Thanks for your understanding and professionalism.
Further Information in additional to the earlier description:
We want a mobile app that draws inspiration from the NYTimes mobile app for looks and functionality.
Users should have some level of customization, being able to choose categories and app skin color (theme) to display per time.
The app must be native (No cross platform. No use of Phonegap or anything close) and give readers exciting functions enabled by the device.
We also want our readers with stories to be able to send them to us using the app. The mobile app must come with an 'eyewitness' feature which allows citizen reporters to snap and/or upload media directly from their devices. As well as fill a generic form [story production template] before sending it back to us.
It should be sophisticated enough for our reporters can use it in the field, yet simple enough for our readers to use too. In fact, our target is the readers.
The app should carry creative ad boxes on front page and in each post
