UI Features and Specification
1. Mobile user(s) for OpenERP 7 Sales module that allows Mobile Sales staff to sell/take order/deliver stocks using handheld bar code scanners (4.3” Windows Mobile (.cab file) / Rugged Android Tablets (7”). (NOT IPhone or Samsung Hand phone) (Similar concept to the OpenERP POS but instead of using PC/Laptop, this will use Hand held devices or 7” Mobile Tablets.
2. Mobile UI MUST work with OpenERP 7 Sales module. It must be able to log in from devices to OpenERP 7 typical user log in. (Mobile User role will be assigned to these Mobile UI user(s)). UI must have initial setup IP address function to connect to OpenERP 7 back-end server
3. Mobile UI user primary “Selling” method will be by Select Customer Name, auto select pricelist if the customer names being assigned to a price list, Select product, add quantity, select payment type, enter payment amount and print order using Mobile Receipt printer. All these transaction will be captured in the Sales order of the OpenERP Sales module.
4. Mobile user primary “Take Order” method will be by Select Customer Name, auto select price list if the customer names being assigned to a pricelist, Select product, add quantity, select payment type, and print order using Mobile Receipt printer. (No payment amount to be enter as this is Order taking). Transaction Must be shown directly to back-end Sales Order for the company to prepare for the Order Delivery and Invoices.
UI Requirements and expectation
Mobile UI MUST work with Android Tablet 7” an/or below and also able to be install onto a typical bar code rugged handheld scanner that runs on Windows mobile /Windows CE (Symbol, Motorola, LXE, Honeywell etc.)
