VERY Simple, Single-Page Android App with Google Maps (1 week)

This is a SINGLE-PAGE app. We need a very simple mobile app developed very quickly. This is the MVP and has only a few very targeted features for this phase. THE APP MUST BE COMPLETED IN LESS THAN 1 WEEK. ALL GRAPHICS AND RESOURCES WILL BE PROVIDED. Skills required: Android, Google Maps, Location Services, REST API * This is a single-page app with some minor authentication as well. * App communicates with a server through a REST API. * There are only two REST API calls to make besides simple auth The app will always show a map with the user's current location in the middle. The map updates every 60 seconds. Every 60 seconds, the app sends the server a request with the current latitude/longitude. The server sends back an array of items in JSON. These items are placed on the map in the correct locations. For example, the list may include two car accidents at certain lat/long. A small car accident icon will be placed at each location on the map. There is also a menu. The menu has a fixed number of buttons. When the user taps a button (like a "car accident" icon), the app makes an API call to the server with lat/long and type (e.g. "car accident"). The server will respond with a success or error code. That's all the app has to do for the MVP (aside from basic auth stuff). The server is being developed separately and will provide the complete REST API. The whole project is completely documented in a git repository hosted on bitbucket. We have mock-ups for the design (very simple--the screen is almost always just a map with some buttons), and we are flexible about the implementation details if there is some change that will help us get it done fast. The API is fully documented in this style: ***IMPORTANT*** There are only TWO (2) API functions (besides basic auth): Reporting something and getting a list of reports nearby. Request a spot report. GET /api/v1/report/:latitude/:longitude?auth=:token Returns a report of spots based on the latitude and longitude provided.
