Contract Terms: To be discussed with a development plan, based on HCPA knowledge and developer experience. About our company: We are Hertfordshire Care Providers Association (HCPA) and we are creating a county where all adults who receive care are given a service of true quality, personalised to their needs. Whether it’s exercise, recruitment, training, impartial feedback, or anything in between, we offer support to our members with a host of low cost or fully funded services. Currently, HCPA are running the StopFalls Campaign funded by Hertfordshire County Council. We have developed an app (in its first phase) for information, assessments and exercises regarding falls on-the-go for Social Care Staff. The main purpose of the job: HCPA are now looking for a developer to take the app into phase two. The app is currently built using web-based technologies (HTML, CSS and JavaScript) we would now like to add our next set of functionalities which includes a database of videos and Interactive Assessments. Where possible we would like the app to be available across a number of mobile platforms and not just Android. Required skills: • Excellent knowledge in HTML, CSS and JavaScript • Strong knowledge with Databases using MySQL and PHP • Good understanding of JSON • Responsive design • Experience with building Android mobile applications and uploading to Google Play Store • Critical thinking and problem solving Desirable skills: • Experience with building mobile applications for Windows and IOS phones HCPA would own the rights to the application. Please have references available and portfolio of work ready to show.
