This project is to initially only focus on Sydney, Australia with a view to eventually expand to all of Australia.
A project that helps network people that share a hobby with the end result:
eg1. A hobbyist logs into the app for the first time, puts in their post code and finds options of other hobbyists in the same area as him and can contact them with a view of spending time with them in doing their common hobby.
eg2 A group of hobbyists that need 1 or more more hobbyist(s) to bolster their numbers can broadcast their request to nearby hobbyists or contact them one by one or more.
The app would need to accommodate three different markers on the google map. 1 Hobbyist (in eg 1 above), 2 Hobbyist (in eg 2 above) and 3 the venue of where the hobby takes place.
Ideally I'd like this to relate to 4 different types of hobbies. (possible 4 different marker colours on the map?)
When markers of type 1, 2 or 3 are loaded onto the map I'd want to know more detail about the user creating the marker to help them network themselves. ie. ie. This project may need a database to support it?
If user is type 1,2 or 3.
Their needs if any. ie see above two examples. (Crucial & Important)
The location of the venue where they do their/would like to do their hobby.
The City the user is in
The State the user is in
The Country the user is in
Weather the user's core hobby type is either, 1,2,3 or 4
What that user's favourite sub hobby groups are (Many options suggest check box style?)
If they have a secondary hobby that they like, ie (another one of the 1-4 hobbies).

8 optional times of meeting:
Monday - Thursday: Daytime / Evening (Option 1-2)
Friday: Daytime / Evening (Option 3-4)
Saturday: Daytime / Evening (Option 5-6)
Sunday: Daytime / Evening (Option 7-8)
That about covers it for now.
It's my understanding that Australian Post Codes and cities can be accessed via the "Australia Post" web site.
