Our "company is myself, and my CTO, Aaron. The idea is relatively simple: service for musicians to meet each other to play music together. I am currently living in San Francisco, but our company is located in Nashville, TN. We would absolutely be interested in people wanting to join our team after launch. We believe music is a right, and the modern music industry has many problems that we can help alleviate.
What we're looking for:
An experienced iOS developer who has experience in native iOS development. This project is for an app that matches musician's in a very similar fashion to a dating app. We need people to work on developing an app from the ground up to an MVP. This includes front-end and back-end. Design and UX/UI experience is a plus, but not essential at this stage. We are looking for people who have experience bringing an app to market through all stages. We are very interested in people who have experience in playing music - not 100% required, obviously, but it will make it easier to understand the problem we are trying to address. If you do play an instrument, then let us know in your proposal! If you are interested in a long-term relationship, residing in the Nashville area is a BIG plus!
This project requires experience with:
-Experience in native iOS Swift development.
-Experience with Xcode and frameworks and APIs like Foundation, UIKit, and CocoaTouch.
-Experience implementing UX/UI.
-Understanding of Apple's design principles and interface guidelines.
-Familiarity with Apple developer guidelines and App submission process.
-Experience with cloud computing services like AWS, Azure, Google
-Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services
-Familiarity with 3rd Party API integrations such as Facebook, Dropbox, Instagram, Twitter, GoogleDrive, Bluetooth, Keychain, etc.
-Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
-Experience with different types of databases. NoSQL DB's like Firebase, MySQL, etc...
-Delivery of past software systems with documented value
-Excellent troubleshooting, analysis and problem-solving abilities required.
-Familiarity with version control tools like git.
-Experience in native Java Android mobile development is a plus.
-Experience designing UI/UX
-Experience with testing and and security.
-Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment
In your proposal, please share a brief summary of your experience and tell us about a recent iOS project, ideally one currently available on the App Store.
