I’m finishing a Swedish-inspired folk/rock track and now need a real violin to bring the melody to life. The part should lean into a traditional folk feel rather than rock or classical phrasing—think expressive bowing, ornamentation, and the natural swing that sampled strings just can’t capture. You’ll receive: • A rough mix of the song. • An AI-generated guide track that sketches out the main melodic ideas; it serves as a reference, not a rigid score. What I need from you: • One or more clean, well-tuned violin takes that fit the guide’s mood but add your own musicality. • 24-bit / 48 kHz dry WAV stems, clearly labeled and delivered via a shared drive link. • Any brief notes on articulation choices or suggested edits. I handle final mixing, so no heavy processing—light reverb for context is fine, but please also include a fully dry version. If you stack harmonies or provide an alternate line, send those on separate tracks. Quick turnaround is appreciated, and you must hold the rights to the performance so I can release the song commercially. If you’re comfortable with Swedish folk nuance and can record high-quality audio from your own setup, I’d love to hear a short sample of your tone when you place your bid.

Hi, I’d love to record the violin part for your Swedish-inspired folk/rock track. I can deliver expressive, natural-sounding violin takes with traditional folk-style bowing, ornamentation, and phrasing while using your AI guide as a musical reference rather than a strict score. I’ll provide clean, well-tuned 24-bit/48 kHz dry WAV stems, clearly labeled, with any harmonies or alternate lines on separate tracks. I can also include brief notes on articulation and musical choices, along with a short tone sample upon request. I’m comfortable working to quick turnaround times and can grant you the necessary performance rights for commercial release. Looking forward to bringing the melody to life!

Hello, I’d love to help bring your Swedish-inspired folk/rock track to life with an expressive, authentic violin performance. I can work from your rough mix and AI guide while adding natural folk-style phrasing, ornamentation, expressive bowing, and musical interpretation rather than simply following the guide note-for-note. I’ll provide clean, well-tuned 24-bit/48 kHz dry WAV stems, with any harmonies or alternate lines delivered separately, plus brief notes on articulation and suggested edits. I’ll also include a lightly reverbed reference if useful, alongside the fully dry versions. I can deliver quickly and ensure the performance rights are transferred to you for commercial release. I’d be happy to provide a short sample of my violin tone with my bid. I look forward to working on the track!

@joshuajsaunders

Please read this Your approach might be favourable but wouldn't it be more effective if we focused on capturing the essence of Swedish folk through expressive phrasing and ornamentation? This will bring a unique depth to the track that sampled strings can't achieve, enhancing the overall feel and connecting listeners to the music's roots. I have further ideas and strategies to enrich the project and would enjoy discussing them, even if it doesn’t lead to payment. Just wanted to know: what is your timeline for completing the violin parts? Regards, Joshua Jaime Saunders

Hi! I’d be interested in working on this project. I have a strong background in music production and audio editing, and I understand the difference between a programmed/sampled string part and a real performance with natural bowing, dynamics and timing. I can help shape the violin part around your AI guide while keeping the Swedish folk character as the priority expressive bowing, natural ornamentation and musical phrasing rather than a polished classical or rock approach. I can provide: • Clean 24-bit / 48 kHz WAV stems • Completely dry recordings, plus lightly processed alternatives if needed • Separate tracks for harmonies or alternative takes • Clearly labelled files ready for your final mix • Notes on articulation and any suggested changes I’m also comfortable working from a rough guide rather than treating it as a strict score, leaving room for the performer’s own musical interpretation. I can arrange a short sample before committing to the full part so you can make sure the playing and style fit the track. If you send me the demo and guide track, I can take a look and discuss the approach and turnaround time.
