I’m not sure if this is the final mix/master, but speaking purely from my perspective, it doesn’t fully connect with me yet. The vocal feels a bit too tucked in, and I’d love to hear it more upfront. The track also comes across as slightly repetitive, so adding more movement in the arrangement with new textures, timbre changes, or making the second build grow even bigger with extra elements could really elevate the emotional impact. The stacked-vocal mini-chorus is my favorite moment and feels like the heart of the song; I’d highlight it more to create a stronger climax. Please message me so we can talk. Hi! I listened to your track and I really like it — the song itself is strong and the vibe is there. The vocals sound great and the performance is solid; I don’t feel the notes need correction at all. One thing I noticed is that the vocals feel a bit dry for the mood of the song. The current reverb is quite subtle, and I think the track would benefit from a bigger, more spacious reverb and some delay to give the vocals more depth and movement. On the drums, especially the kick, it could use a bit more punch and presence. This can be achieved with some compression and very subtle saturation, and I’d also suggest adding a bit of sidechain between the kick and the bass to help everything breathe better. I also feel the track could be enhanced by stacking more layers and textures — adding subtle instruments and effects to fill the space, as right now it feels a bit minimal. That said, harmonically the song works really well and the mysterious R&B vibe is on point.
