I have a project here that I need done using expression engine (please don't recommend to me other CMS - i'm not interested). Obviously skill in EE and custom module development will be critical but here are some other aspects I would like you to be experienced with.
2). CSS/HTML (typically for minor implementations)
3). Git (must already know, you will be quizzed).
4). Linux (bonus for those that know and use linux daily).
PLEASE READ - I'm only interested in developers that can work during US business hours ( 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. UTC -7 ). There are NO exceptions to this rule. We are a fast development group and realtime collaboration is essential to the success of this project. I will be providing you with a private chat account and access to a ticket tracker, which you will need to use religiously. If you cannot commit to this then please do not contact me.
This is an existing site that wishes to improve on the current codebase. I am looking not for an exact estimate of time, but a fair assessment of the time involved which will be run through our existing development staff and vetted to make sure it meets our criteria.
This is a fairly short-term project, communication is of the upmost importance, however we do a lot of sites using EE and would possibly like to grow a relationship with the contractor whom is hired.
One note, we try to stay away from firms and companies and stick to sole developers. In our experience the quality of work and communication from a sole developer is much more granular than that of a project manager - that and we already have a project manager that will handle this.
So, assuming you've made it this far in the app please note, if you send me a canned response then we will not be working together. The first quiz is to answer this question in your initial response: Who is the greatest basketball player of all time?
Attached is a specification, please review and provide me with semi-accurate estimate of your time. If your bid does not meet our expectations it will be removed. Please review and place your bid before Sunday Nov. 2nd, 2013 - 9:00 PM UTC -7 (2 days).
Thanks and cheers
READ THE PROJECT DESCRIPTION _ - as of right now every single bidder has failed to actually read it. You have the exact specs in the document! Read the description from start to finish before you bid!
