This project is very simple, just create a database correctly on Windows Server 2008 and retrieve the correct host name and port number.
A client wants me to install and set up a Revive Adserver on his website which is hosted on a Windows Server 2008. I successfully installed the package on his domain and its live online now. However, in order to set up the Revive, I need to create a DB and enter the host, user, pass, DB name and port into the Revive set up. I am not doing the DB creation properly or I am entering wrong host name and port number. The error msg that appears is:
MDB2 Error: connect failed
connect: [Error message: MySQL server has gone away] [Native code: 2006] [Native message: MySQL server has gone away]
Installation failed to create the database revive_adserver_3
I just need someone to show me how to create a database properly on the Windows Server 2008 and retrieve the correct host name, and port number for the database so that Revive Adserver can access it.
Whoever bids $30 or less first, I will higher him right away. The payment will be done only when the Revive Adserver works.
