I am looking for a web database app to parse the contents of forms submitted from our wordpress site. The forms are created by Gravity Forms, and the contents are hosted in our Wordpress database &/or sent by email. So the database app would need to check for new forms every xx minutes
The forms are for those people searching for insurance brokers and our job is to send them an email containing links to the most appropriate broker for them according to which checkboxes are ticked.
So for example, there might be a checkbox saying "I want a U.S broker" and another one saying "The broker must be regulated". Our database contains the name & contact details for all brokerss, and contain the same checkboxes as those on the customer form. In this example, the database app needs to loop through each record in the database searching for any brokers who are in the U.S AND regulated. It then sends an email to the customer with the contact details for every broker it finds that matches all the ticked checkboxes.
This is just an example. There might be as many as 20 checkboxes with more than 100 possible combinations of checked and unchecked boxes. But it is simply a matter of checking for database records that have a tick in the checkbox matching the ticked checkboxes of the customers form.
The app needs:
* a frontend for me to create, edit and delete the company records that will be searched (this will be in a new database, not the Wordpress database)
* an email engine to send plain text email reply to the customer, using our SMTP serve
I am happy to use a pre-existing database app if there is any you recommend.
