I'm working on a project joining several tables, calculating miles used per job. One table states the odometer of the vehicles however I need to calculate the difference between the current odometer reading and the odometer reading prior all on the same column. A new column needs to be created with the miles used. I've used the lag function but it does not work. I can send the code over for review however I'll like to find a way to get this calculation done. Keep in mind that there are many vehicles and many jobs per vehicle and i'm doing this calculation for all jobs and vehicle within the organization from 2018-current. Also please note that I use teradata.
