Our company is building a web-based analysis software tool in .net using DevExress. The central page of this project features a large grid with up to 80 fields, about a dozen of which contain dynamic drop-boxes. This screen is meant to handle a large-data accounting process previously handled in excel. This screen runs far too slowly for our users--sorting takes upwards of 10 to 20 seconds, filtering is worse, etc. We need a developer to come in and fix this speed issue.
We're looking for a .net developer with demonstrable experience using DevExpress and expertise in front-end development. This contract is for 3 weeks, but can probably be knocked out during a couple days of intensive work. The developer will be restricted from modifying proprietary DevExpress plug-ins and out-of-the-box libraries (we don't want to lose our software next time DevExpress sends us an update!).
Domestic/United States developer only. Los Angeles area based developers preferred, but distance is not a problem if you are willing to give constant updates through the day as you work.
