Assistance with high level internal network design, to include HP Swtich configuration

Hi,

I am seeking someone with the following skills:

- network design, best practices, subnet isolation, broadcast minimisation, switch security, traffic optimisation

- VLANs,

- switch L3 routing

- switch ACL's

- trunking between datacenters over dark fibre

- vxlan, q-in-q and other encapsulation techniques

- Spanning tree

- Jumbo Frames

I require them to review a basic two site, vlan based network design and make recommendations around:

- topology

- where to use switch L3 routing, and where not to

- routing protocols to use

- VLAN design in the context of physical shared access systems, virtual environments, multiple isolated connections to various clients

- VLAN configuration / port configuration for VMware, CIFs, iSCSI, and other protocols

- use of LACP or other bonding / trunking technologies for datacentre interconnects, and how to avoid split brain, etc.

I would like to conduct this portion of the project by:

- initial 1-2 hour web conference to layout the history, constraints, components, etc.

- I will supply a Visio network diagram

- desired outcomes

- equipment list

- allow for 1 week of review, with email Q&A as needed

- final 1-2 hour web conference to discuss recommendations, changes, etc.

A follow on phase will include:

- update Visio diagram to reflect agreed changes

- Prepare a HP 5412 ZL2 Switch config to implement the desired network design

- Assist with post implementation verification and testing
