Dear Client, For a multi-floor office, adding more access points does not automatically improve Wi-Fi. Poor AP placement, overlapping channels, weak backhaul, floor-to-floor attenuation and excessive transmit power can create roaming problems and dead zones even with good hardware. I have 11+ years of electronics/wireless-system experience involving RF-sensitive products, Wi-Fi hardware, antenna placement, interference considerations and technical system integration. My approach: Floor Plans → User/Device Density → RF Coverage Plan → AP Placement → Channel/Power Plan → Wired Backhaul → VLAN/Security → Validation I would focus on 2.4/5/6 GHz coverage strategy, inter-floor interference, roaming between APs, PoE/backhaul capacity, guest/internal network separation, VLANs, WPA2/WPA3 security and leaving enough capacity for peak office usage rather than designing only for basic coverage.
