We’re building a data-heavy SEO SaaS platform (keyword research, SERP analysis, content generation, and LLM insights). We’re looking for a senior full-stack engineer who can own architecture and execution end-to-end. Tech Stack (must be comfortable with): - Frontend: [login to view URL] (React, TypeScript) - Backend: NestJS (Fastify) - Database: PostgreSQL - Cache/Queues: Redis - Analytics: ClickHouse - AI/Data: Python (microservices for NLP, content generation, clustering) - Infrastructure: Docker (self-hosted, no Vercel dependency) What you’ll do: - Build and ship core product features (dashboard, keyword tools, content editor) - Design scalable APIs and async job pipelines (crawl, analyze, generate) - Architect data flows across Postgres, Redis, and ClickHouse - Integrate LLM workflows and data processing services - Leverage open-source SEO tools and datasets to accelerate development Performance Requirement (non-negotiable): - You must design for high-performance architecture across the entire system - Dashboard (user + admin) must load fast even with large datasets - Apply best practices: caching, pagination, streaming, background processing, query optimization - Avoid blocking operations and inefficient data fetching patterns - All dashboard pages must be fully responsive across all devices, built from desktop-only Figma designs Requirements: - Strong experience with [login to view URL] + Node/NestJS in production - Experience building SaaS with async jobs and data-heavy workflows - Experience optimizing performance in real-world applications - Comfortable working with Python for AI/NLP tasks Able to design systems, not just implement features Nice to have: - Experience with ClickHouse or analytics-heavy systems - Experience with SEO tools, SERP data, or content optimization - Experience with scraping or large-scale data ingestion Important: We are building for speed, scalability, and clean architecture. Hi, A data heavy SEO SaaS with async job pipelines, ClickHouse analytics, and Python AI microservices is exactly the kind of system where architecture decisions made early either compound into speed or compound into technical debt. I build for the former. Three quick questions before proposing a detailed approach. Are the keyword research and SERP data coming from third party APIs like DataForSEO or Semrush, or are you building your own crawling and indexing pipeline from scratch? Is the LLM layer using OpenAI, a self hosted model, or both depending on the task? And how far along is the Figma design system, are we converting complete desktop designs or working from partial wireframes? My approach on the data layer would use ClickHouse for all aggregate analytics queries, keeping Postgres clean for transactional and relational data without mixing workload types. Redis handles job queues via BullMQ and caches expensive SERP and keyword aggregations with appropriate TTLs. NestJS service modules map cleanly to product domains, keyword tools, content editor, SERP analysis, with async job processors handling crawl and generation tasks outside the request cycle entirely. Python microservices communicate via internal HTTP or message queue, keeping NLP and clustering logic isolated and independently scalable. Ready to review the Figma files and start immediately.
