I have an ER28 fly-back transformer on hand (model HT-ER2828-801A or an equivalent you may suggest) and need a compact isolated power stage built around it. The supply has to accept either 240 VAC mains or a 24 VAC / 24 VDC input on the same terminals and deliver a steady 12 VDC at 10 W. What I need from you is a complete, ready-to-build solution, not just a concept. Please retune or redesign the existing schematic so the magnetics, switching device, control IC and protection network all work harmoniously, then verify the operating points with proper fly-back calculations. Because the converter will sit inside industrial equipment, component choices and layout notes should favour long-term reliability, good thermal behaviour and conservative stress margins, even though no formal UL/CE submission is planned at this stage. Deliverables • Final schematic in PDF plus an editable format (Altium, KiCad or similar) • Bill of Materials with manufacturer part numbers and footprint notes • Key calculations: duty cycle, reflected voltage, current-sense limits, snubber design, efficiency estimate, etc. • Commentary on how the chosen parts match the ER28 specification or, if substitutions are better, why • Basic bench test procedure so I can reproduce your validation steps with standard lab gear If you have a proven track record in offline fly-back converters and enjoy backing your design with clear calculations, let’s get started.
