My WooCommerce store on a shared SiteGround plan keeps hitting their resource ceiling. SiteGround automatically suspends the site several times a day and their logs show waves of unfinished SQL queries piling up until new requests tip us over the limit. As a result I’m facing frequent downtime, very high CPU usage and painfully slow page loads that are costing sales. I need someone who knows WordPress, WooCommerce and SiteGround’s architecture inside-out to: • trace and fix the slow queries or loops that are stacking up • review theme, plugin and custom-code interactions that might be spawning excess calls • configure or fine-tune caching (SiteGround Optimizer, object cache, browser cache) so requests are served faster instead of re-querying the database • optimise the MySQL database itself—indexes, transients, cleanup—so it can handle concurrent orders smoothly • suggest or implement lightweight replacements for any heavy plugins you identify Acceptance criteria • No suspensions for at least seven consecutive days under normal traffic • Average server response time below 300 ms on key pages (home, product, checkout) measured with GTmetrix or similar • CPU seconds and entry processes remain comfortably within SiteGround’s daily allowance, confirmed in the cPanel statistics You will have full staging access as well as WP-Admin and phpMyAdmin credentials. Once your work is proven on staging, I’ll schedule a short maintenance window for you to apply the fixes to production.

Hello, Your WooCommerce resource issue is a strong fit for a careful staging-first investigation. I can trace unfinished SQL queries, inspect theme/plugin/custom-code interactions, optimize SiteGround Optimizer and object caching, and clean or index the database without disrupting orders. I’ll also compare heavy plugins with lighter alternatives where appropriate. A useful improvement is adding query and server-resource monitoring during the seven-day validation window. Hi there, I can see the real bottleneck here isn’t just “slow WooCommerce” , it’s likely a load pattern where unfinished SQL work, plugin chatter, and caching gaps are pushing SiteGround past its limits. I’ve fixed similar WordPress/WooCommerce performance issues by tracing expensive queries, isolating theme/plugin conflicts, tightening object and browser cache behavior, and cleaning up MySQL so checkout traffic stays stable. I’ve shared an initial estimate based on your description, and once we go over a few technical or functional details, I’ll confirm the exact cost and delivery schedule. My approach would be: review query logs and slow requests, test plugin/custom-code interactions on staging, optimize indexes/transients, then validate the result against your target response times and resource usage. If needed, I can also suggest lighter replacements for any heavy plugin that’s contributing to the overload. Could you share which pages or plugins are showing the highest query count in the logs? Could you share which pages or plugins are showing the highest query count in the logs? Are you using SiteGround Optimizer object cache already, and if so, is it Redis or Memcached? Do you have any recent plugin/theme changes that lined up with the suspensions? Looking forward to your reply so we can finalize the exact plan. Best regards, Asad

The unfinished SQL queries piling up before SiteGround suspends the store point to a request, cron, or WooCommerce background process that needs tracing rather than another generic cache toggle. I’ll profile the staging site with Query Monitor and server data, identify repeated queries and plugin/theme loops, then review Action Scheduler, transients, checkout requests, and custom code. I’ll also tune SiteGround Optimizer and object/browser caching, clean and index the MySQL tables through phpMyAdmin, and replace or disable any clearly excessive plugin calls. I previously restored a blank WordPress wp-admin by tracing it to an outdated caching plugin incompatible with the server PHP. I’ll deliver the diagnosed query/plugin report, optimized staging build, and production changes in 3 days, with GTmetrix response times and cPanel CPU/entry-process usage checked for the requested seven-day stability period. Is the SiteGround suspension log already available in cPanel for the staging review? Muhammad Saad

Hi, I understand the issue: the WooCommerce store is hitting SiteGround resource limits because of slow SQL queries, repeated database calls, and potentially heavy plugin/theme interactions. I can investigate this on staging first, identify the queries or PHP processes causing the load, review plugins/theme/custom code, optimize MySQL and WooCommerce data, and properly configure SiteGround Optimizer, object caching and browser caching. I’ll also check for unnecessary transients and heavy plugins and suggest lightweight alternatives where appropriate. With 10+ years of WordPress experience, I can focus on reducing CPU usage, entry processes and server response time without affecting checkout or order functionality. After testing the fixes on staging, the changes can be safely moved to production during your maintenance window. Thank you Regards, Sai

Hi there, I can systematically resolve the database query bottlenecks and CPU spikes causing your SiteGround suspensions, bringing your server response times below 300 ms and keeping resource usage safely within daily limits. How I will optimize your WooCommerce store on SiteGround: Query & Database Optimization: Trace slow query logs using MySQL EXPLAIN and Query Monitor, add missing indexes to high-traffic WooCommerce tables, and clean up autoloaded data and expired transients. Code & Plugin Execution Audit: Review active theme hooks and plugin loops spawning excess database calls, control aggressive AJAX endpoints and restrict WordPress Heartbeat ping frequency. SiteGround Caching & Stack Fine-Tuning: Enable Memcached/Redis Object Caching to handle dynamic queries in memory, tune SG Optimizer for NGINX Direct Delivery, and set strict cache exclusions so cart and checkout flows stay fast without invalidating sitewide cache. Staging Verification & Deployment: Implement and benchmark all fixes on your staging environment first, verify <300 ms TTFB via GTmetrix, and apply changes to live during your maintenance window, followed by 7-day CPU metric monitoring.

Hi there, Unfinished SQL queries stacking up on SiteGround shared plans almost always point to runaway WooCommerce cron tasks (like action scheduler bloat), poorly indexed postmeta queries, or unbuffered AJAX calls exhausting PHP workers. I know SiteGround's stack well and can isolate and fix the bottlenecks locking up your database. What I'll do: ✅ Enable Query Monitor / MySQL slow logs on staging to pinpoint the exact plugins or queries locking wp_posts and wp_postmeta ✅ Clean autoloaded options, expired transients, orphaned order meta, and missing table indexes to slash DB execution time ✅ Configure SiteGround Optimizer dynamic caching, Memcached object cache, and heartbeat controls properly for WooCommerce ✅ Full database and file backup before touching production, testing every change on staging first so orders and cart functionality are never interrupted Relevant skills: ✅ WordPress & WooCommerce core optimization ✅ MySQL query profiling, indexing & transient cleanup ✅ SiteGround environment (SG Optimizer, Memcached, Nginx direct delivery) ✅ Linux server administration & performance tuning ✅ Microsoft® Certified: MCSA | MCSE | MCT ✅ 300+ projects delivered, 280+ five-star reviews Why me: Quick response times and I stay with you until the site runs clean without any suspensions. Are you running automated sync plugins (like inventory feeds, ERP, or CRM sync) that trigger continuous background loops? I can deliver in 1 day for 30 USD and can start right now.

Hi, I'm Denis, a full-stack developer specializing in performance optimization for WordPress and WooCommerce on shared hosting. I've diagnosed and fixed many cases where unfinished SQL queries cause suspensions—typically from inefficient database queries, heavy plugins, or missing caching. Here's my approach: 1. **Diagnose**: Review slow query logs and PHP errors to identify resource hogs 2. **Audit**: Check plugins and theme code for unnecessary database calls and loops 3. **Optimize**: Add proper indexes to expensive queries, configure SiteGround Optimizer and object caching, set up transients for costly computations 4. **Clean**: Remove old orders, revisions, and unused data 5. **Test**: Verify performance under realistic load The core issue is usually query optimization. A single poorly indexed query on a high-traffic page drains resources fast. I'll analyze your product and order queries to ensure proper indexing and eliminate N+1 patterns. Some plugins may be incompatible with shared hosting—we'd replace them with lighter alternatives if needed. I'll also monitor live behavior to catch edge cases. I can start immediately. Let's discuss the details. Thanks, Denis.

hello, You have already spotted the crucial clue yourself, the waves of unfinished SQL queries stacking up until they tip the server over, and that detail points straight at the real problem, which is that something is generating slow or excessive database queries under load, not simply that the site needs more caching. So I would resist the temptation to just pile on caching as a first move, since caching hides the symptom while the underlying slow queries keep stacking the moment cache misses or checkout traffic hits, whereas the lasting fix is finding what is actually generating those queries and stopping it at the source, which is exactly the trace-and-fix work you have prioritised. So I would start by profiling to see which queries are slow and what is firing them, using query monitoring to catch the specific culprits, since in WooCommerce these stacking-query problems usually trace to a specific cause, a poorly-built plugin querying on every page load, an
