The basis of this project is to check SSIDs of WAPs (wireless access points) I have out in my different networks and make sure they are all what they should be. Details below.
What I need is a simple windows (w32) GUI project that will:
Allow the ability to import a bookmark file with IPs and set passwords
Have the bookmark file read and have the link name (aka network name) in a drop down menu
Next to that drop down menu, list all of the WAPs in that network (which is defined in the bookmark file)
Click the "Check" button which will check the select property's WAPs and make sure they all have the same SSID
If there is an issue with a specific WAP, some type of notification with the WAP name should be made (we can discuss this later)
Next to the check button, there should be a "Rename" button. This will rename the selected property's WAPs to an SSID entered in a text field. After renaming the SSIDs, the WAP should then be rebooted.
There should also be an option to Check All WAPs in every property and to Rename All WAPs in every property.
I will be able to setup some example WAPs and send you an example bookmark file that will be used if you can complete this project. Please let me know ASAP if you can do this. The way to access the WAPs is via telnet.
I need the code to be clean and neat and have comments.
Upon completion of project, I will need all source files.
