I have users on my website. The users are listed in my mysql database. They have an ID and e-mails in the database table. I want the ability for each user to be able to send an email to sha1(email)at [url removed, login to view] At [url removed, login to view], you will setup courier imap or postfix, or some pop or imap server, which will run a mysql backend. When a user registers, I will add their account to that mysql table of the email software. When they send an e-mail to sha1(email)[url removed, login to view] I want a constant daemon perl script to do a constant tail feed and pop the new message off the queue for the corresponding user, execute some parser function (extracting the text contents), and posting the data using lwp or curl to a url. The main objective is a system which: 1) Permits me to enable each of my users to send any email to sha1(email) at [url removed, login to view] 2) Automatically parse the imap inbound email log and post the text data from the email to a url with the appropriate user id. After the tail parse is done, you will post it here: [url removed, login to view](email) POST data = text data in the e-mail 3) This should support up to several thousand inbound emails on that one box that this will be hosted on.
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. You will setup the mysql backend courier imap or postfix and you will specify into which table to add the username, and you will make a perl script which will watch the tail for each user or all users and post the new data to a centralized url. After the post, you will erase the message you just posted.
