Our company is looking for a Customer Support Operator to handle support issues that arise for our company on the weekends. ? We are initially looking to try have one person support us for one month for 12 hours a day on Saturday and Sunday from 9am to 9pm PST. ?
The Customer Support Operator must be able to speak and read English Fluently and have an Internet phone available to them either through Skype, Magic Jack or other technology that runs over a broadband Internet Connection. ? The Operator will monitor jobs in our Job Queue and ensure the jobs complete successfully. ? On occasion, a job will need manually intervention and the system will email an alert to the operator and then the operator will have to call up the Client and double check with them to make sure the job completed. ?
Most times when intervention is needed, the Operator simply confirms the job completed successfully and the Client failed to complete the operation successfully. ? Occasionally, the job will need to be restarted and the Operator can do this from the management console. ? Sometimes, the client will ask the operator to read off the job summary which can be obtained from the Management console.
Client's may also transfer to the Operator where he/she can assist in their requests. ? The Operator will record a summary of any questions the client encountered.
Jobs tend to peek at certain hours of the day, during the off time, we ask the operator to perform some QA ? test scripts on our Web Applications in between job bursts.
