I have a customized bulk stock update script in my oscommerce shop's admin as shown in the attached screenshot. What I basically want is to be able to easily add more attributes to products through this page.
For example:
If a product already has 5 sizes (size 3,4,5,6,7) and there are more possible sizes - I want to be able to add size/s, like this:
I want to add a "add attribute" button at the bottom of each product, near the active/not active text (see attached screenshot). I want to be able to add attribute/s to the product that the button is below it by clicking that button, on the fly, using ajax (without page refresh obviously, that's why we use ajax).
My website has QTpro installed, programmer must be thoroughly familiar with the QTPro addon and an Ajax expert.
Just to clarify the project:
I have a page called "[login to view URL]" where I can search for stock based on search criterias and then update their stock quantities, you can see the output result of this page in the attached screenshot.
I want to add a button under each product on this results page.
When that button is clicked, 2 selection dropdowns will open:
1) Option name, to choose the option name, like Size/color or any other available option (by available I mean - already available in the db).
2) Option value, to choose a value related to the name chosen in 1), for example if "size" was chosen then I will be able to choose an available size, if "color" was chosen in the option name then I will be able to choose an available color.
The option value dropdown must show only options that the product doesn't already have, for example - if a product has size 7, 8, 9, they shouldn't appear in the dropdown, because they already exist so I don't need to add them to the product of course.
Once the value is confirmed, it should be instantly added to the db and shown immediately in the [login to view URL] page, under the other available attributes as seen in the screenshot.
There should also be a cancel (X) button to make the selection dropdowns disappear in case I changed my mind (or clicked by mistake) and don't want to add attributes.
If you have any questions, please ask before bidding.
Important:
Programmer is required to work directly on my dev server (do not download any files to your own server/s).
Programmer is required to email me a detailed changelog when the work is successfully done.
This mod requires previous experience with QTpro and the QTpro db structure (it's different than vanilla oscommerce attributes db structure) and very good knowledge of js and Ajax.
