Hi there,
We have a web application set up where users are given a phone number to send & receive texts using the [login to view URL] API.
When a user signs up, we set up a new phone number for them easily using the Twilio API. At the same time, I want
to create a page like this:
(this is my website, i can give you all code): [login to view URL]
Except, rather than prompting for e-mail/name/zip code... we will have a page with a link like:
Every unique website visitor will be assigned a number (using unique IP... or maybe cookies... I don't know. however you can identify each unique!) like '1234'.
So if 2,000 people come to the site at once, we will have '1', '2', '3', ... '1999', '2000'.
This unique number will then be displayed on the page (remove youtube video) like this:
"Text '5' to '123-123-1234'"
(where 123-123-1234 is the number specified in GET variable on [login to view URL])
As soon as Twilio API receives a text to 1231231234, our system inserts an entry into the MySQL database that
you can easily access using SELECT. (looks like id,number, uniquenumbertheytext)
The [login to view URL] page should check this MySQL database every 3 seconds, so as soon as this entry appears
in MySQL, we will replace "Text 'uniqueNumberHere' to 'thePhoneNumber'" with a new <div>.
Easy!
We want this done today, so the faster you can get started the better. Thank you so much.
NOTE: If you have ANY questions, we will clarify them BEFORE choosing a winner!!
