We need a PHP programmer to rebuild our existing Perl scripts in PHP language. We will start off with our a1 Helpdesk XP script. The script should maintain all the features plus a few additional ones: - Ability to place smiley icons in message - A separate section which allows Administrator to initiate a new ticket (currently only visitors can initiate a new ticket). - A "Mark as Read" feature. Currently unread messages are in bold. This new feature will allow the Administrator to change the message's status without reading it. - Exclaimation Marking. It is sometimes not enough to have only the "Priority" marking. We would like another marking which add a red exclaimation mark ( ! ) in front of the subject. This marking will not affect the sorting of tickets. - Multiple Pages. Breakdown a ticket into multiple pages if the ticket has more than 10 messages. For the new PHP version, please advise if it is better/easier to use mySQL. Please note that no downpayment will be made. You will be paid 100% once the script is completed/tested.
