Project details: The overall aim of the project is to provide affiliates with websites and web-stores that are tailored to suit their professional category. We will host and stock their web-store, selling their customers products at a retail rate. We will need 2 email copies of the order, one sent to us, and the other to the customer. We drop-ship some products, we will need to automate the order email to our drop-shippers. Our labels should be printable right from the customer order form We will be quoting customers freight. Shipping = UPS. We will share the profit with the affiliates. We will need this calculation on line with configurable parameters. We will have to be able to change % on each product as needed. Each site will have two basic sections: 1. Biographical / informational- where the affiliate can directly submit their own information, jpeg, etc. 2. Webstore- the heart of the project. The web store for each affiliate will be essentially one of several product sets designed to meet the specific needs of the user. We will need a web interface to build this catalog. We will need to be able to build and reconfigure each affiliate site. Uploading the picture(s), adding cost and selling price, entering a description. No xml updates. We anticipate perhaps 5-10 distinct categories of user. The mechanics of each is the same and that the only difference is the graphics, layout and product set that the customer sees. Affiliate should be able to do the following upon signing-up: Choose their domain (or possibly subdomain) name- Can we partner with a domain registry? Choose which of our product sets is most appropriate for them. It would make sense to have a “Choose Products to Offer?? page so each customer or customer group can “select?? what product set they want to *****THE REST OF THE DETAILS IN ATTACHED FILE********
