I have a .NET application which works fine on my test machine but when I export it to my production server I get the following error:
CryptoAPI cryptographic service provider (CSP) for this implementation could not be acquired.
**This only occurs if a correct username and password pair is entered into the security screen.**
Please visit <[url removed, login to view]> and try to login with demo_solicitor/password and you will see the error.
Passwords are stored encrypted with RSA in a SQL server database.
This is most likely a configuration/ security setting that is required to be changed.
I would like someone to take on this project to fix my problem by either changing the code and supplying a new compiled version that works, or by detailing exactly what settings need to be changed on the server (and changing them by RDP) so that the application works.
The money will be paid only for a successful fix which works on the server in question (<[url removed, login to view]>).
