We run a Oracle 10G database server and provide database services to our customers. A previous developer developed a control panel for it in ASP.NET, which was able to create databases/users on it.
The developer now no longer wishes to help us, and the control panel he created has a number of bugs and can malfunction at times. I need someone to either rewrite the control panel in PHP, ASP, ASP.NET or correct correct the bugs..
The description of the initial project:
I need a control panel that would allow us to setup customers to use Oracle 10g and do some basic management
It should have 3 levels. Admin level, reseller level and customer level. The admin level would allow an administrator to create resellers. At the reseller level, resellers could setup customers to use oracle 10g specifying the amount of space, number of users and a username password to access their oracle 10g account. At the customer level, customers using the username password setup for them, they could:
* Create new users
* Drop existing users
* Assign user privileges
* Change user passwords
* View user statistics
* Create, drop, and modify tables
* Assign constraints
Run queries on your tablespace
Oraacle 10g is setup on a linux server and it runs Standard 1 processor. My knowledge on Oracle is poor so your suggestions and ideas on how it should be implemented would be appreciated. we plan to offer oracle 10g hosting to shared client
One thing i forgot to add is that the the admin should be allowed to specify how much space a reseller can give and divide among his customers.
