Installer for a .NET application

I am developing a plugin for Visual Studio.NET.

I have a set of files that represent the plugin.

What needs to be done:

- create installer for this plugin according to the commonly accepted standards for installers (please recommend the installation program when you bid)

- incorporate enough information into the installer pages

so that user is able to install everything w/o reading documentation

- test that the installation is successfull

Here is the manual installation instructions (how it is done currently) so that you can estimate the amount of work:

Installation

* Unzip downloaded zip file to "C:\ SourceExplorerAddin1.2\"

The name of the folder is critical. Please see below about how to change the default installation directory

* Run [login to view URL] from "C:\ SourceExplorerAddin1.2\"

It will copy the file [login to view URL] into the VisualStudio Addin folder

* In [login to view URL] 2005 , go to the menu "Tools->Add-in Manager...". You will see the list of available addins. Check the checkbox for the Source Explorer Add-in.

Addin will be loaded. You will see a new smiling icon in the "Tools" menu as well as on one of the toolbars. Select this menu or click the button on the toolbar to open a new Source Explorer window.

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
