Hello
I have a tricky situation, I am using MS reporting services from a asp.net web application and I render the report out as PDF in a new browser window. My problem is that the Acrobat would not launch (browser integration is disabled by MS by default and nothing much can be done about the open save cancel dialog box) in the browser. It opens its own instance of the reader and the report is rendered out but the window that I have opened also remain open. But if the same process is done twice(for example I open the report close the window and then open the report again the pdf file is openend in the browser window..)really weird!! So I am thinking is there a way that the new browser window be closed if NOTHING is rendered out and if after two tries the PDF is rendered out in the window then let it open. Another problem is when a PDF is rendered out in browser window, there is no source of the pdf file...
So if someone has a solution please let me know.
thanks in advance.
