I need some help from a coder that is very familiar or can be familiar with linkpoint api. I have a site that needs to be able to process credit cards on it, store the custom information in a database and then communicate back to the website the status of the order as sucessful or not.
then you will send the customer an email with the thank you email and also generate a serial (we will tell you the algorithm for this). then you will build a https page that can accept xml from the exe that the customer installed. the xml will contain the user info, the serial that was emailed and another id they will enter. you will then perform the following.
Check for customer in the db by email, check if the serial has been activated before, if yes then check how many times, if more than 2 times then abort and send xml back to the client via the https call response. if no then record the other id that the xml has provided. this will likely be a mac address. We will give you schema and namespaces we are using on client side.
in the db you will be storeing purchase/customer info and thier activations info (serial and mac address)
The idea is that the system is fast and can communicate quickly based on https and xml that the app sends.
that is all we need. We have the ui for the checkout pages. (fill info, payment page, order confirmation page)
you will need to use asp.net 2 with sql05 for this. you will need to make sure the form and the https serial parts are not hackable by injection
