Ambitious project requires the help of a flash programmer with at least basic familiarity with the online gaming industry. An ideal candidate would possess these qualities: 1. One or more completed flash games for our review. 2. The ambition required to complete tasks in a relatively short amount of time. 3. Long-term sustainability, as you will be hired repeatedly for updates to this project if your work exceeds expectations. 4. Creative and able to think "outside the box", as many of our problems will require imaginative and thoughtful innovation to solve. 5. The ability to thoroughly capture our vision and make it a working reality without micromanagement. Responsibilities & Expectations (Short term / within this contract): 1. Create a flash-based massively multiplayer online RPG-style game with clean, well documented code. 2. The product should be easily extendable beyond original specifications, as we are a growing business. 3. The game must be able to record statistics on virtually every event (number of wins, number of times each page is visited, etc.) 4. Gear, weapons, and players will be classified into groupings which will allow us to remove certain categories of item at will, etc. (Long term / for next contract): 1. The game will include a working forum, with three levels of access (member, moderator, admin). 2. All areas of the game will be editable by our administrator (player stats, weapon values, etc.) 3. New gear will be easily added via an "item input" page, available only to admin. IMPORTANT: Due to budgetary considerations, we cannot afford to pay more than $200 USD per month. Please contact us even if this is lower than you require, as we can discuss multiple contracts ($200 this month, $200 next month, etc. Please bear in mind that we are looking for a BASIC framework for the game under this contract, not a final product. Please place a bid if you are confident that your skills will compliment our project.
